I wasn’t trying to stir shit, but he posted what he posted and I simply copypasted it.
I feel a bit bad that everyone got all riled up about it.
I don’t want this thing to shutdown, there’s a lot of cool cats on here, who’s posts and banter I enjoy. (although, getting off the interwebs might be a good move for me)
I do hope that system finds a way to fund, a way we can chip in if necessary.
Maybe it’s more about him being tired of it, I can understand that.
What I did see is an outpouring of support and gratitude, maybe that’s what he needs to keep his head up and push through.
I sure hope so.
I for one am grateful for his hard work here.

Same. I used to be semi-prolific. Most of the old names went and kinda came back, mine stayed the same, and remains so on every website I’ve been on. I also come back here a few times a day to see the goings on.

To those who got me started on the JQ, I will forever be grateful. To lose this (again) would be a shame.

There was a voat community started on Aether that I joined after the original went down, but it didn't seem to take off the last time I visited. The things exist but they take extra work to access and may not have as many features.

I would be willing to use a decentralized system and host a node.
