Any suggestions for a medial malleolus stress fracture?

Niggerfaggots, I think I fucked my inner ankle up. I started jogging in October of 2023 and noticed my ankle was kinda sore, so I stopped, but continued hiking and walking a lot. Over time, I’ve had stiffness in the same ankle but just brushed it off as the beginnings of arthritis. I have a job where I’m on my feet and it has gotten to the point where I know something is definitely up. I don’t want to deal with “the system”. I have been wearing an aircast for the last few hours and it hurts worse than it did before. For reference, the last 4 days, I haven’t been walking much on it, and have been elevating and icing it.
Any suggestions? I’m currently off work and have leeway to be a gimp till February 10th.

eek! Non-weight-bearing exercise is all I can offer based on my experience with my knee. Check out YouTube for some relevant videos.

I thought it was "the beginnings of arthritis" too. I must have damaged my knee somehow (using a garden edger?) and I felt I had a "club foot". It was very worrying and lasted a long time (couple of months?) and it seems like it got better due to leg exercises, which I still do.

Ice is for fresh injuries to slow the flow of blood into a ruptured area. Heat is for healing and getting things moving again.

I was banging a chic on a rock down by the river one day and I was stroking that long daddy at a high rate of speed and it came out and plowed into the side of the rock. I took this fine woman home from the bar one night and I was in a hurry and I started banging her and she was screaming STOP! STOOOPPPPP!! I take a daily regimen of anti inflammatory supplements such as curcumin, with pepperin, garlic, ginger, glucosamine and I take whole cod liver oil I buy online from a store in Iceland. I’m 54 and I’m all fucked up from years of construction work.
I eat a diet of juicing wheatgrass, juicing vegetables and alot of fish and fresh veggies.
I’m just trying to fend off past years of drug abuse to my body.
I still drink, mostly beer and wine, rarely hard alcohol.
I smoke two cigarettes a day, but have smoked for 40+ years.
I do stretching exercises regularly, I have a stretching machine.
I don’t walk or run or hike or any of that stuff, it’s too hard on the joints.
Advil, only when I need to.

The body heals best when your fasting.

So literally eat a fatty steak.

Stop eating for three days.

Suppliment with vit d and vit k2.

Repeat until healed

Need X rays. Find out if it is a fracture or break.
Use a knee scooter if you can, it cushions and rests your ankle.
Buy one with a manly-not-gay basket, so you can carry stuff.
Ibuprofen helps with swelling/inflammation pain.
Diclofenac gel is OTC and it is ok to rub on it, will help some.
You can apply it every two hours or so.
Maybe a walking boot?

Edit to add, if you get a Doctor excuse, you can give that to HR and be on light duty for the weeks to come.
