I went to a date today. By the hour I post this, you can guess it didn't go well.

I'm (was) a teacher. After taxes, I make $15 an hour. I work(ed) a crazy number of overtime, but let's assume I am paid 8 hours a day. That's $120 net per day.

Had a date. Some boring, uninteresting washed up woman that probably slept with several men she met an hour ago at parties, but me? I gotta take her out first.

Ended up at some restaurant. Not a high end one, barely above bar quality food. I am on a diet, and wanted a salad. $22. Extra chicken (regular salad doesn't have any), $7. Add in a beer ($10 for glass), that's $39 for a mediocre meal of salad, tomatoes and cucumbers. And a beer than costs them something like $0.50 to make.

Add in taxes and the bribe to the waiter for doing the job he is already paid to do and you're a $55 for a shitty meal. Probably more, because the server will give you attitude if you "only" give him 15% for carrying a plate and a glass 10 meters.

Of course, I was also expected to pay for my date. That's $110 total, nearly all of my day's income.

That's right: I was expected to work an entire day to have the privilege to bring a shit-quality woman (20 pounds extra, mid 30s, feminist, hate men, etc, your typical "muh harris" and "muh trans rights" supporter) on a date.

I sat down and looked at the menu and saw she was already on her phone. Couldn't drop her dopamine machine long enough to pretend she gave a shit about me. Probably thought she was doing me a favor "accepting" to go on a date with me.

I dropped the menu, said "sorry, this isn't going to work" and left. I'll be damned if I pay $55 for a salad and a beer. I'll be damned if I pay for some slut to treat me like garbage.

I think I'm about to give up on society altogether. I quit my job a few weeks ago, but was supposed to go there today to pick/drop some stuff.

It was absolutely freezing. I could barely make it out of my place, let alone make it to the subway, and it made me think: how the fuck did I last so long at this place?

As if this wasn't bad enough, it was snowing, and everywhere was slippery. I would have had to endure that for 40 long minutes just for the privilege to drop my pass with the principal.

Fuck. That.

Did I mention the insane taxation I have to pay? Literally TWELVE fucking lines of crooks taking a cut on my pay before I have the privilege to have my own money I worked for. Meanwhile people make $300+ an hour on government contracts - paid by my taxes - not doing shit, and probably laughing at the sucker (me) who finances their lifestyles.

I really wonder if there is any point being part of "society." We're supposed to get free healthcare here, but I've been trying to see a doctor for a year. Without success. "We'll call you back." I have a court case coming for a parking ticket (snow removal, towed, no signs posted) and it keeps being pushed back. If I lose, my $85 ticket will become $220 because that's the cost to pay for not bending over and taking it like a good slave.

I'm tired of it all, MGTOW. I am literally this close to selling everything, moving to a mountain and just read all day. Maybe have a garden and some dog. I'm tired of traffic, homeless people in the metro, cops treating metro passengers like shit, bosses exploiting me and women treating me like crap. I'm tired of being paid peanuts and being expected to carry this entire fucking society. They increased the cost of a car license recently, another $100 taken from you like it's nothing. I don't even have a car and it pisses me off.
