Never watched Twin Peaks myself, but I did enjoy the movie "Blue Velvet", which I thought was a pretty good neo noir thriller, and not incomprehensible as 90% of his other work.

He also did "Dune" back in the eighties, which really got mixed reviews from the critics and public. I thought it was pretty B- myself.

ok it was Dune ive seen i didnt mind it.

i would probably consider it B anyway, its a tv series dude making a movie, dont think it was aiming at being AAA. Thats the one with Sting and Alicia Witt.

Im sure there was another movie as well, had a big ass english guy as Baron Harkonnen but they didnt make him as putrid as the 84 movie.

I remember watching his directorial debut "Eraserhead" back in my college days. Truly nightmare fuel. A totally unforgettable experience, and not in a good way.

can confirm i remember there being riots in corsica or some shit in 96 and its only when youre not a tourist over there you find out pretty much every high population city there has tenements that arabs have turned into pretty much high rise barrios that cops dont go in to or they dont come out of again.

In this case the blue thin line between retard and genius is very slim.
Loved his movies actually havin grown up sametime as many a movie hit the screens. One thing for sure was it was weird but never boring.
Some of his moodscapes defined alot of my feelings like in Calif.
