If aliens don't look like this, I'm calling bullshit.

Once we wipe ourselves out the octopus and squid are likely the next to evolve and dominate the planet.

Whereas some animals use camouflage to conceal themselves from predators, this dude wears a fancy suit that shouts “come get some motherfucker”.

In the octopus beauty contest this one would end up at the very front

Isn't there a youtube vid of some dumbass who picks one of these up on a beach?

It never made any sense to me why such a small creature would be so venomous. I think octi/squid are fascinating creatures.

In today's news a girl a bit further up the Coast from me got bitten by one. It got into her swimsuit ffs! I'll find the link. Many years ago a young soldier got bitten by one roughly in the same area and died.

Paywall

Dakota Maree had been swimming near rockpools in Sunshine Bay Cove on Wednesday, January 15, when she asked her friend if she could "scratch an itch on her back". Dakota's mother, Jess, said a blue-ring octopus had swum underneath her daughter's swimmers and latched on to her back.

“ I think octi/squid are fascinating creatures.”

Don’t forget about cousins cuttlefish and nautilus!

Some say Cephalopods are from another world. Alien life forms here on earth…., it’s an easy story to believe.
