I dont buy it. How do they know 8 out of 10,000 women get cancer from mammograms themselves? It has got to be using the LNT (Linear No-Threshold) junk science model for radiation exposure that assumes there is no dose low enough of radiation that can be considered safe. Meaning it allows some egghead tard in a labcoat to say confidently that 1000 people per year die from cancer from eating a banana or that X amount of people got cancer this year from flying on a plane etc.
But sure, if there are easier and less intrusive ways to diagnose breast cancer, by all means, use those first. I agree with that
Didn’t read the link yet, but physical manipulation can spread the cancer itself. This is actually a fact that a lot of doctors have started to acknowledge. And a few studies also showed not wearing bras is protective against breast cancer.
This is about patients without cancer at all. The guy specifically says that per 10000 mammograms given '8 people will die who would have never had breast cancer, from breast cancer.' I searched for 'the data' but didn't find anything. I struggle to imagine any un-completelyretarded model that could be used to justify such a specific and seemingly impossible to verify claim

Edit: Beethoven's 5th Symphony and Ligeti's Atmosphere killed almost 20% of breast cancer cells.

For example, 100mr/yr is the local limit for most NRC sites. It says 100mr/5 years.
