Does anyone actually know when "Fuckoff We're Full" was first posted, and who gets credit for coining that glorious phrase?

Ended up as the name of the matrix server - but I seem to remember it in response to one of the many reddit excoduses.

Your question reminded me of a very old Vice video where theyanaged to track down the dude who coined the surfer term "Gnarly"

Ah, yes, I remember that (the search for the dude to coin the term "Gnarly". There have been a small number of other campaigns to find the progenitors of other words & fads.

It would have been shortly after r/donald invaded the first time, 5-19-17. That's when the comics about the goat in the box and the goat shitting his pants on the way out started happening.

- The other migrations were fine, we needed people but when r/donald rolled in that weekend it pissed us off.

As far as getting credit, who knows? A lot of people hated redditards for a lot of reasons.

I also believe the term was borrowed from 4chan.

Probably surfaced around the time r/niggers and r/Coontown migrated to old voat after the big shoah.
We had 30k + members on r/Coontown in the end. I remember, it was the famed u/eagleshigh who lead me to voat.

I think I saw the link in r/european, and migrated on the afternoon of June 12, 2015. Pao (right in the kisser) was slashing and burning my favorite subs that summer. Plus the place was being overrun by fags and homos who'd flip out over nothing. I left there with 3200 unopened red envelopes because it was all hate mail. 2X was a great place to express rational opinions. ๐Ÿ˜†

With the numbers that you had on reddit, I'm surprised that there's been that much attrition. Seems like this place should still me three to four times bigger than it currently is, I know that all the clones have spread folks out a bit, but there is something to be said for not putting all of our eggs in one basket, but then, goats could belong to this forum as well as their other forum too.

I remember when 5000 was the largest number of upvotes on a post anyone had seen. That was the Bozarking guy with his weird af sex story fantasies. Post in question contained the phrase "I'm Cameron Diaz".
