Seeing her head get jerked sideways and sucked in by the vacuum created when it opened its mouth was pretty impressive.

Fish was "de-fanged" or the gook wouldn't have gone in there.

The freshwater aquarium boasts native species from the Mekong and Yangtze Rivers, as well as other rare amphibians.
Reports do not specify the type of fish that staged the attack.

Some kind of river fish, I guess.

Ah true, thanks for the extra info, that vid is much better.
Some people are saying it's a kind of sturgeon.

I know lake sturgeon in Lake Champlain are the largest fish in the lake. They are protected, endangered, and massive.
They are usually 6ish feet. Largest on record in the lake was 7 feet.
Edit to add from brave search:
White Sturgeon: Typically grow to about 5–7 feet in length, but can reach up to 20 feet. The largest white sturgeon on record was caught in the Columbia River and weighed 346 pounds.
Green Sturgeon: Usually range from 4.5 to 6.5 feet in length.
Beluga Sturgeon: Can grow up to 8 meters (26.2 feet) long and weigh up to 3,463 pounds, making them the largest freshwater fish in the world. The largest recorded beluga sturgeon was caught in the Volga River and measured 7.2 meters long.
Atlantic Sturgeon: Can grow up to 18 feet in length and weigh over 800 pounds.

Always heard that the Lake Champlain Monster (Champ) was actually supposed to be a sturgeon. Makes sense.

Nice black eye. It ate her goggles too.
