yeah I clicked no, and it deleted all my shit. So fucking great. Unrecoverable as well, and I'm an IT guy.

It's gotten to the point, where so many things that are required for me to do basic things day to day, that also only operate on Windows, have forced me to virtualize a bunch of Windows boxes just so when Windows "updates" (see: forced spyware & bloatware) break things I have the ability to roll back to known good configurations.

I can't even trust storing data on Windows systems anymore, have to run off Unix based NAS.

yeah sharepoint is a giant piece of shit as well. I unsync'd a user's folder and it fucking deleted the entire sharepoint site. Had to recover from backup, and then it fucked all the time stamps up. Then I ran an audit of file operations and it only showed the folders, not the files themselves. Box is far far better for cloud storage.

ANYTHING is better for Cloud storage, than the operating-system level forced bullshit that Microsoft tries to push.

Just don't login at the OS level. Use offline only. Don't sync with Microsoft or online accounts.

As of today, you can still do this on all major Windows versions - they just make it annoying as fuck, constantly try to force you to do it anyway, and constantly update the OS with their cloud bloatware that you're forced to uninstall every windows update.. but it's still doable.

These days, the bulk of what any normie has in terms of files will inevitably be cell phone pics that they never bother to offload from their phone. The butterfly effect of Windows Mobile being such a resounding flop is that Microsoft lost all those potential captive users. Onedrive has since been a service in search of a purpose, at least on the consumer market.

Like most of micro(penis)soft's products, they only get used by jew-owned mega-corps. The most people at home use is Windows, paint, and maybe excel. Poorly.

I love how kikelsoft has "Teams Personal Edition." They really think people are going to log out of Teams at work, which they're forced to use, and log in to Personal Edition Teams for some goddamn reason.

Personal Edition is like the cell phone. Corporate can get free work from you by making you feel the need to be on it 'to answer a quick question' or whatever excuse they use. While they can't force you to use it, they'll do everything right up to that point to get you to do it. Including firing those who don't do it for 'other' reasons.
