I rescind my criticisms of Jeffrey and leave them as an example. In my defense, there are many who have changed their tune after the fact and I think it's more than fair of me to question them.

Wanting people to have authority and ownership over you is not a sign of intelligence. It's a sign of subservience.

That sentence is weasally bullshit. Maybe the author thought that, but the FOLK always knew they were being dominated by bullies.
