Because Christians do it out of their own pocket, politicians do it out of yours.

Jesus didn't work you nonce, he left a carpentry apprenticeship to become a full-time Rabbi.

Jesus didn't work
But...
He left carpentry apprentiship
At the age of 30...
To become a full-time Rabbi
I thought you said he didn't work?

LOL, you're really bad at this.

Apprenticeships are unpaid work, he was a lazy carpenter and used bent nails making ikea furniture.

lol, Joseph was a carpenter, Jesus did the same work until the age of 30.

You're a retarded faggot to think he's like gen z and works for free, let alone for 15+ years.

On top of that teaching is a tough job.

Get BTFO'd again, roo man.

jews never discovered the dowel or complex joinery, their carpentry was inferior to western carpentry of the time.

Because Jesus isn't putting unwilling donors into slavery. It's a personal choice. Theft of labour is a death penalty crime,

charity comes from kindness. socialism comes from the state for control.

The big difference is that the government commits armed robbery and then give “some” of it goes to the poor. Most of it ends up in the pockets of the politicians who are responsible for the theft.
When people give money to the poor, they do it out of the goodness of their hearts, not being robbed and the end of a gun.

John 12:8 is basically Jesus saying some things, including types of celebrations, are more important than giving away your money to poor people.

christianity doesn't exist. It's an illusion. The only christian ended his life on a cross. What we have are hypocrites, people who pretend to be something what they cannot possibly achieve. So, in my view there are no christians.

No true Scotsman argument, I get ya.

people who pretend to be something what they cannot possibly achieve.

The concept of being a Christian is the endeavor to become more Christ-like. We can't get there on our own. And we will stumble along the way. But like the parable of the Publican and the Pharisee, there's something deeper there than just words and actions.

God can shine through us. Christians endeavor to be a conduit for God's goodness. That said, we always fall short. I get the frustration of hoping for your neighbour to be Christ-like and then watching them slip into bad behaviour again and again. But pre-sanctification, that is the condition of life for Christians. I can't give perfect love, only God can.

If you think of Christians not as a people that purport to be morally perfect, but instead like an AA group for sinning, you'll probably have a better picture in mind for what it's about.
