I hardly ever bring up politics or Biden; she finds a way to mention Trump’s name every time I talk to her. I think it is 80% due to being an elderly woman who watches a lot of TV and 20% due to being a NYer who lives not too far from The North Shore of Nassau County which is the Jewish stronghold of Long Island save for The Five Towns on the South Shore bordering Queens.
I sent my dad the one-hour speech of George Lincoln Rockwell at that university. He watched the whole thing. His response, "That guy scares me." Haha. Boomers. At least he did truly watch the whole thing. And he did request more.
New Yorkers have huge egos and as a result they're very susceptible to repeating falsehoods because to them repeating whatever the accepted mantra is of other New Yorkers reinforces the idea that they are smarter than all the people in the hinterlands.
They truly believe they're smarter than everybody else and one of the ways they demonstrate that is to blindly repeat whatever other New Yorkers have told them because they think well New Yorkers have told me this and we're all smarter than everybody else so it must be right.
If they're challenged and actually proven wrong it destroys their whole idea of being Superior as a New Yorker.
This is one of the reasons that New Yorkers are just so damn gullible to bullshit.
