This whole "permit" thing just grinds my gears. I own it, even pay my taxes on it, and now I need permission from gubmint to redo the roof, or windows or siding or just about anything? Oh, and it has to be up to some arbitrary, ever changing "code". What absolutely retarded nigger jew voted for this kind of crap?
Permits/code should only be necessary as a third-party assurance of quality for the sake of purchasing insurance. Otherwise, whose business is it but mine how I build my home?
