I've used copilot and it gives wrong answers about 20% of the time. I was trying to make a CI/CD pipeline in Azure Devops to build embedded firmware, and it ended up taking longer using copilot due to it giving wrong answers instead of me just searching myself. I think it still has a long way to go for coding.

Another issue is that it searches it's resources for answers, so I am not sure it is really good at coming up with new and unique ideas or solutions. Just compiles what others have already done.

It cannot be trusted to do anything right.

It's auto-complete of simple short work with with subtle errors.

It makes the same errors repeatedly.

It can work as a more precise search or classification tool

Try using it with AWS.
It gets all fucking confused. It still helps though.

Yeah AI is going to reduce productivity in programming. AI is awful and produces spageti code that takes longer to debug than to code from scratch. Googles AI is such a joke Google is forcing people to pay for AI by bundeling, Micro$oft does the same. 95% of AI is a fraud.

Learn to code.
