Could the cop see the gun?
Was it a suicide attempt?
Was Matt reaching for a gun?
Had Matt jumped back in the vehicle?
Why wasn’t less-than-lethal force used? What was the reasoning behind not using a taser? (umm, because it sounds like dude had a gun in his hand threatening to pop himself).

EDIT. At the very least dude was likely going back to jail for possession of a firearm by a felon regardless - after zog cop concludes inventory of the car prior to towing and having dude step out..

The guy immediately tells the cop he's a j6er and has been pardon by trump but his license is bad. Then when told his car is getting towed and to step out it all goes to shit.

Dude might just have been off the deep end - wont make any determinations until body cam footage.
