If I were president I would have already convened an exclusive meeting of special forces, carefully selected for loyalty
and had them arrest most of congress, the senate, the judiciary, governors, and the heads of every federal agency, along with the heads of major news channels, investment companies such as blackrock, NGOs, and sundry others.

Those officials would be disappeared into a hole somewhere for the rest of their lives, and I would institute a dictatorship in order to affect a complete tear-down and rebuild of the nation. This is what is necessary for the survival of the u.s. as a unified nation, this is what should happen, but won't.

This is not rocket science. Politicians, most who lack the will and are tied to their assets and careers, are unfit to make decisions concerning the survival of our or any nation across time-spans that matter.

I would institute actual martial law, knowing full well the pentagon would carry out a coup against me and likely have me killed.

The pentagon would assume authority 'temporarily', which would in turn, predictably, lead to a military revolt.

The result of that would see an overturning of what is left of military and intelligence leadership.

This would invite our enemies to attack in the power-vacuum that follows, and the outcome would be the country uniting behind new military leadership, with no ties to the political machines of old, and put us on course to actually be prepared to face our rivals post-dollar failure in 10-50 years.

Failing that, when support for the dollar collapses, and it will, we will first see a massive reduction in our own influence and power at home and abroad, followed by our ostensible opponents on the world stage amplifying internal schisms to tear this nation apart, followed by losing world war 3, which we will not recover from into any semblance of military strength.

The failure of the u.s. has already been written, and agreed to by the major world powers. We are to be first split up, economically, politically, religiously, demographically balkanized into paralyzing infighting, followed by losing a manufactured war, followed by crippling economic repayment treaties, and we will never again as a nation be recognized, as the land of the free or home of the brave, except perhaps in name only.
