LOL I have a whole lot of guitars - but I at least have space to store them properly.

I only own a few keyboards. I'm not really a great keys player, even though I took a year or so of piano as a kid. I can't sight read or anything like that with keys.

Good to see and hear from you! I'm going to try to let this one play. I'm having connectivity issues. I assume I'm not the only one. Worst case, I'll listen to it on the phone - but that has crappy quality. (I don't do the earbud thing with my phone and don't have real headphones with me.)

If y'all hate this I won't do it again. I've always recorded videos of song ideas because it's the only way I can remember anything. There's a ton from the last year when I knew I was going to be handless for awhile. So shit like this is what will become my first record when my hands come back. The first one is depressing as fuck:

Well, it's that time again. It's Friday and time for the Friday Night Guitar Thread. Like normal, we'll go ahead and get you started.

We've been pretty lazy as of late. We do have some projects started and learned, but we've not really done any recording lately. Frankly, it's fun to jam out and play fun songs but it's an ordeal to record them and then mix them down into something you want to hear.

I was impressed and I think a crowd would buy it, as its fucking close to Axl as humanly possible, at least in my opinion.

I know, you're a singer yourself and being that you may not be so easily impressed as I am.

never mind the sound quality, this was just one mic, doing the room mic thing, with the gain all the way down the meters were maxed out, but it is what it is. you can hear him singing over the two guitars and drums and me playing bass...

which is impressive on it's own.

Yeah, I've not felt all that well and I've been in a contrary mood lately. I just didn't want to deal with people outside of what I had to. I'm used to the quiet comfort of my home as opposed to the hustle and bustle of a city.

Who's opening the thread tonight? I'm still out of sorts and have a goddamned ear infection. I can do it if I have to but I probably won't stick around for long.
