Back in the day,I think it was part of Mao's "great leap forward",they suggested plants were communists and would help each other to grow if planted close together. Any farmer would tell you plants put too close together will strangle each other. But they went along with "muh science" and did it anyway. And the expected result happened and people starved.

It's only been deboonked because there is no proof the WEF 'funded the study or that it has been made into law'.
It's simply one of those precursor foreshadowing of things to come - like studies for how open fires or gas burners are unsafe and pollute etc that typically result in laws and regulations that prevent the use later on.

THe study is actually real - but the link and banning is dubious/ exagerated.
