As long as King Charles is ruling I think there's a very good chance that the English people will figure out something different to do with the monarchy. Maybe making it an elected honorary position and further changing their constitution etc. I just don't see it hanging around because Prince Charles doesn't have the appeal. But if they can get it to the point where it's a Prince William taking over the throne with his wife she's so attractive and liked by the people that they would like to keep the monarchy in place if it was that young couple.
