You got it backwards, though, in my reason for bringing this up. If your stated goal is to get Christians to denounce their religion (or at least expand their knowledge of), then stop a moment to think.

They literally changed a passage in the bible to say that a land was promised to the seed of Abram (Abraham). Read: They invented "the promised land" and "chosen people" myth

Then in 1967 they changed it again to say “For a nation to commit the sin of anti-Semitism brings inevitable judgement.” The bible, of course, never refers to “the sin of anti-Semitism.”

This means, I agree with you, that the most detrimental Zionists in the U.S. are not necessarily american jews but the christian evangelicals since they feel we are coming closer to a critical period in history and they want the jews to fulfill prophecies to hasten the "Second Coming of the Messiah."
