The churches are a business

submitted by Joe_McCarthy to OccidentalEnclave 1 monthMar 30, 2025 16:05:33 ago (+2/-2)     (OccidentalEnclave)

Some thoughts on my recent discussions with an Episcopal deacon.

- He tells me he favors 'socialized capitalism'. Make all the money you want but don't forget those left behind. In other words be sure to donate to churches so guys like him can make a living.

- Today I mention to him that his church does as well with homeless outreach as the local homeless shelter. I mention that this is the case despite being a 'side hustle'. He laughs.

But these guys are running a business.

Christianity will be more authentic when we're fucking in the streets.

I guess this is why Jake Sullivan compared me to Luther...

Catholic Family Services and Lutheran Social Services (and many other NGO's) got paid millions of your tax dollars to import "refugees".

Asimov's foundation series paints an interesting picture of what religion really is.

Read it a few years ago. Enjoyed it, and found him to be a visionary.

the only reason the churches cling to the OT is the tithe scam, and the Catholics are clearly satanic

The Protestant ones are!

Uh huh. Why do you suppose the Bishops Conference supported DACA? Paying customers. More spics in pews for the collection plate.

I'll tell you why! Vatican II! Godless liberals infiltrated the Catholic Church in the 50's & 60's and brought in hoardes of communists to destroy the One True Church, BUT unsurprisingly, THEY FAILED! Believe me when I tell you... God will raise up good honorable Holy men who will become defenders of Catholicism, and the days of Pantsuit women and effeminate men will be a thing of the past in the One, True, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church! DEUS VULT!

If you have a church i'd tithe.

Gowie, How are you? It's been a while...

I think a lot of Catholics would! Me included. We're out here, we're waiting to see real change! And I'll tell you this! I went to visit a close friend in a very liberal city across the state line, I last saw him about three years ago, the last time I was there, they had the Tabernacle off to the side and the Priest chair in It's place. Recently, their Priest got word that the Bishop demanded that the Tabernacle be placed in it's rightful place, and that the giant Crucifix be removed from the other side of the wall, and hung above the Alter. I recently visited him and his family again, and the Tabernacle WAS where it belonged, and the Cross was hanging Right above the Alter, as it should have always been!

Change will be slow, but it's coming!

[ - ] iSnark 0 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 17:12:05 ago (+0/-0)

They didn't fail. They were infiltrated! TAKEN OVER!

[ - ] Markshirley 0 points 1 monthMar 31, 2025 11:53:30 ago (+0/-0)

yet every catholic knows it and still supports the church.....

Whatever may be said about Vatican II the Roman church has always been an invasive, immigration supporting institution in the United States. And it would be. It historically meant bringing in more Catholics. And that remains the case today. More paying customers.

The Catholic Church is not an America institution, The Catholic Church has responsibilities to souls all across the Globe! The reason they bring in so many Illegal Aliens is because they've been hijacked by the communists! The Catholic Church should be helping souls in their own countries!

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy [op] 0 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 16:51:16 ago (+0/-0)

So it's just a bunch of reds hijacking the joint and not typical Vatican empire building and very capitalistic money grubbing then. Got it.

[ - ] iSnark 0 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 17:05:08 ago (+0/-0)

Obviously you don't "Got it"! The Vatican is not building an Empire! The Empire belongs to God, The Catholic Church are stewards of the souls of the Faithful... Yes, the communists have infiltrated, and steered the One True Church off course! The tide will turn! God will crack the whip, and truly Holy Men will lead the Church again! And you will see a different Catholic Church than you've previously known!

Someone mentioned the Roman church as satanic earlier. That is definitely not true. What you should be asking is if the devil is starting a new religion or not...

[ - ] iSnark 0 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 17:14:05 ago (+0/-0)

The devil already did... Protestantism! It's even in the name! You've heard the saying! Evil thrives where GOOD MEN do nothing!

You'd do Belloc proud.

The Reformation could not have taken off without corruption in the church then existent. Though given your performance so far here you might even deny that. Corruption remains though. Not the least being the love of money. This time we'll put both the Protestants and the Catholics on the backfoot.
