I'm not for or against it. But I have to say it. Because no one else is.

That law says that no one can get ELECTED more than twice.

ELECTED.

This is all I'm saying. I don't care if you're for or against this law. If you're for or against President Trump.

But all these fucking idiots are ignoring the wording.

ELECTED.

It says nothing about getting into office by whatever the fuck method you can think of that is NOT ELECTED.

Ok dude but none of these presidents are elected, they are selected.

Our votes do not matter, even in the legal sense. Popular vote does not elect a president.

Never said it did. Why would you even bring that up?

Yes it does. It stayes that if you have served unelected in the capacity for more than 2 years you can't run a second time either. Read the actual constitution not random clickbait

Read my title, not random click bait.

He's not right.

"Run" is the same as "elected" in this regard.

Nothing in the constitution says a person cannot hold the title or become the President 'more than twice'.

Thank you for admitting that you were wrong, champ.

I think well of course Jerry Ford was appointed to the presidency after they made Spiro Agnew resign. One wonders if president Trump was on the ticket as a vice president with that count as being elected.

FDR did it simply by enacting the "War Powers" act.

That was before the 22nd amendment.

For the people who didn't read the title:

Not for or against this topic.

Not for or against the current President.

Just sick and tired of everyone ignoring the wording.

That's it.

Don't care if he does. Don't care if he doesn't. I just don't care about it.

Look Trump is already showing his age he's not the man he was even 8 years ago. That's why he likes the young Elon so much Elon keeps him from drifting into the doorways. It's not nearly as bad as Biden but you can tell a little bit it's there. At the end of this for your term I doubt he will be the leader than anybody wants unless they're idiots. I think if JD Vance keeps up his tough talk he will be the air apparent to Trump.

Tucker Carlson has a couple shows where he talks about Ford being the only president that never got a single vote.

Ford was "installed" as VP after a tax scandal caused Nixon's actually elected VP to resign, after which Ford was appointed VP.

Then Nixon resigned and Ford became president, and nobody ever voted for him.

Tucker does a pretty good job of outlining the downfall of Nixon, and how it was most definitely a setup.

As for Trump, he needs to find an honest man to run for president and have Trump be the VP. Then after the election, the president steps down and Trump is back in.

The only problem is finding that honest (((politician))).

The only path to the presidency is through the electoral college election. Any other way is illegitimate.

That that to John Tyler, Millard Fillmore, Andrew Johnson, Chester A. Arthur, and Gerald Ford.

Retard.

You mean people who took office after the president was killed or resigned? Who were VP? Trump gonna be VP in 2028?
