Promises made.
Promises ke......

Now wait just a cotton pickin minute here.

Edit: scrolling through the comments, I notice a lot of liberals complaining about the stock market "collapsing". But, everything they point to is after-close speculative "trading" that won't land until the market opens tomorrow morning. And a lot can happen between now and then. This dip will probably be super temporary, I wouldn't be surprised if it's more than reversed by the end of the day tomorrow, if not right when the market opens. Savvy investers are going to buy this dip, while commie retards are too busy screeching and moaning.

No no no. The other countries' numbers are not tariffs, but a ratio representing the US trade imbalance with that country.

So the tariffs Trump is implementing zero out the trade deficit exactly.

I'm pretty sure that's not it.

The tariffs will impact us and the cost of goods, it will more heavily impact countries with higher tariffs and their companies, then prices will get lower for us and our trade deficits will slow and eventually reverse as manufacturing returns and tariffs persist. Make sure your are stocked up on necessities, these tariff inflated costs will persists for months in most cases, years in others the question is how fast factories can be built.

If you need a new piece of tech buy right now.

A lot of places where it's discounted sell goods to the US that are kinda necessary, and also don't import a huge amount from the US and have other options.

One big example is Taiwan. A 32% tariff on the chips they sell us will already be pretty painful, and they have a trading network all over East Asia.

I think that the stock market will go down and we'll have a few months of small growth then take off like a rocket. I guess we'll see

You may be right. We shall see, indeed.
