Sanders wants to cancel the Trump administration's proposed sales of $8.8 billion in bombs and other munitions to Israel.

The measures failed 15-82 and 15-83.


No Republicans supported the measures.

I'm calling bullshit on this one at the moment. The article makes no mention of the specific resolutions. Nor do any other articles I've seen. After some searching on my own, I came up with SJR40, SJR41, and SJR42, which were introduced on March 27th. And according to congress.gov, these resolutions were read twice, then referred to the Foreign Relations Committee.

They also claim "no Republicans supported the measures", which I find unusual, given that Massie has been known to be a vocal opponent of sending aid or weapons to Israel.

Now maybe the vote happened this afternoon and just hasn't been put on any of the websites yet, but that seems unlikely to me.

For right now, I'm calling this as Axios making shit up to say "Look at these naughty goyim who wouldn't support our GrEaTeSt aLLy!"
