you say that as if you think I am on China's side. They have ALWAYS been the enemy, and our politicians over the last 30 years have sold us OUT. But the fact is, US hardware and auto parts stores (just to name 2) are TOTALLY DEPENDANT on China for goods. I would LOVE to buy all US-made shit, but that option does not exist. Read some labels the next time you go shopping. Simple shit, like light switches or doorknobs.

Many US-made cars use parts made in China, Mexico, Malaysia, etc. 'Assembled in US' is more truthful. What good is a new car that is lacking a module, chip, sensor, etc that is ONLY made in China? They could decide to halt all production or export of just a few items, and cripple our auto industry.
