"Delhi Belly" stems from two sources.

1. Fecal matter in their tap water used for cooking, drinking, and making ice cubes.
2. Fecal matter directly transferred into your food from hands, clothing, and unclean cooking areas.

Their tap water is pulled from rivers filled with raw sewage, dead bodies, industrial waste, and household trash.

When I was a kid, I remember my mother talking about her co-workers that had to travel to India. They were insrtructed to keep their mouth, nose, and eyes covered when taking a shower, among other countermeasures for poisonous water.

They were told to only drink bottled water. Of course, I was too little to know or care why.

I have a friend that travels to India 1-2 times a year. He was given the same advice about showering, and brushing your teeth with only bottle water.

He slipped up once and got "Delhi Belly" from ice cubes delivered to his room by hotel staff. It was a luxury hotel and even their "filtered" water was fucked.

A lot of it is delicious- I learned how to make many dishes on my own. The hard part is learning about spice - garam masala, coriander, turmeric, and cumin are main ingredients for many dishes.

fuck this as been a huge thing for me, it seems ALL videos are vertical nowadays. I saw a video from nasa astronauts today from the fucking space station filming earth and it was in vertical FFS !!

You can film in landscape and still have the vertical shot for stupid tiktok or IG.
