Yes....but mostly no. About the same answer I give to the question 'do you eat junkfood?' I grew up on Velveeta cheese, and still eat it. Same for RiceARoni Fettuccine Alfredo, Tuna Helper, Nabisco Saltine Crackers, and Dinty Moore Beef Stew. Otherwise I make an effort to read ingredients and avoid GMOed crap.
All food is "bio engineered". I challenge you to go into the wild and find a carrot like you find in the store. You can't. In fact, wild carrots are bitter, shriveled, unrecognizable, little roots that you would never even think about eating.
The reason you have edible carrots is because humans have selected the best of each crop over countless ages to be more desirable than the last generation of carrots, until you have what is on your plate.
And the reason you can't find them in the wild, is because they require amounts of water and fertilizer that they can only get when given to them by humans.
Now, apply the same logic to pretty much everything you eat. This is what a watermelon looked like just a few centuries ago. https://files.catbox.moe/pu0vf4.jpeg
"bioengineered food ingredient" doesn't tell you anything unless it tells you what was engineered.

I am aware that food, particularly fruit & vegetables used to be cross-bred to create new species with better characteristics than their predecessors, However, the shit they're doing now is literally Frankenstein level! It's not just cross-breading it's monkeying around with introducing shit into food that was NEVER intended to be introduced, like say, mosquito genetics, etc...
There is a HUGE difference between "Selective Breeding" and straight up "Genetically Engineering".
Selective Breeding allows natural genetics to create the desired traits. Genetic Engineering is literally cutting, and pasting genetic material manually into an organism to forcefully create the desired trait.
Selective Breeding is slower, safer, and does NOT present the same risks.
I never said anything about this being more dangerous than that. I said the label is useless.
Because "bio engineering" doesn't actually mean anything useful. Just like the label "organic". Or "natural flavoring". or "grass fed". or "free range". or "cage free".
As soon as you understand that these are just labels slapped on a product to manipulate you, the sooner you can spend your time actually figuring out if it's healthy or harmful.
Because the label, in of itself, can't tell you that.

It's in Cheerios, pasta, candy, drinks.
It's literally in every item that is sold to us as food.
By design.
