this is happening on purpose. big money ppl from the likes of citadel are moving here and this why everything has gotten so expensive for the homeowners. hurricane and property taxes are through the roof and i know why they have been buying up houses.they expect the state to become like jew york or commiefornia. the good news is that there will be less people on road now lol

I live on the pricey Emerald Coast. There are a zillion houses for sale, and not selling.

The complete opposite where I live.

Houses are on the market for less than a month, on average, with all the rich city fags fleeing to the countryside.

Everybody bitches about housing being to expensive. Prices drop and everyone starts crying about losing money they never even had.

it seems that you dont own a house or you live in a cheap state. owning a house in florida is indeed expensive now. property taxes, hurricane and flood insurance are through the roof and yes the state legislature approved all of this because they have a say on the matter.

the idea here is to get rid of those that cannot pay. the retired, the disabled and the poor. they just want the millionaires and billionaires to come down here to make it like some type of riviera. but its going to backfire splendidly on them. see the rich are the most stingy ppl that exist and they want to hold on that sweet money even if they have plenty of it.

in miami dade is now illegal for the homeless to sleep on the streets. imagine that. they want the poor and low middle class out

I do own in Florida. The plan isnt to turn Florida into a paradise for the super rich.

It's part of a plan unfolding across the entirety of western civilization to turn everyone into a model wage slave.

If you can't afford housing you're going to have to group up to overpay for small homes. If you can afford it, you're going to get bled dry and your ability to grow your wealth is gonna go way down.

My insurance has gone up 300% since I bought my house in 2019.

i believe you because same for me here

My property tax went from $400 to $4500 in 3 years, and this year I'm betting it's going to be $9000. This inflation bullshit is pissing me off so much, but if the state does "value" my house at $1.7m I'm gonna sell it, fuck these fuckers. I bought it for $700k

[ - ] oyveyo 1 point 2 weeksApr 13, 2025 18:23:45 ago (+1/-0)

Yeah! Fuck the fucking fuckers!!

[ - ] AmazingFlightLizard 1 point 2 weeksApr 14, 2025 11:47:21 ago (+1/-0)

You can’t sell, because you won’t be able to find a suitable house without paying through the nose. Between taxes, inflation, insurance, and those Blackrock faggots, we’re all stuck paying into the system even if we “own” our homes.

The valuations these fuckers do is insane. Id sell my house to them for what they think it's worth in a heartbeat.

[ - ] BushChuck5002 -2 points 2 weeksApr 14, 2025 08:04:27 ago (+0/-2)

Who would buy it?

It's not worth anything until the contract closes, bro.

[ - ] NoRefunds 2 points 2 weeksApr 14, 2025 08:32:19 ago (+2/-0)

no shit, dummy, that's what I'm going to tell the county assessor when it doesn't sell

[ - ] BushChuck5002 -2 points 2 weeksApr 15, 2025 08:34:33 ago (+0/-2)

Thinks he can get his house assessed downward, calls me "dummy".

Boomer suicide rate increases dramatically.

you might be joking but this will likely happen for real.

[ - ] TheNoticing 0 points 2 weeksApr 14, 2025 15:07:50 ago (+0/-0)

It needs to happen, I hope boomers will go down in history as the worst generation to ever plague the planet (kikes are the worst race, I'm talking about the boomer generation).

One of the most interesting things about humans is their process and rationale for selecting a nest site.

Florida's housing costs nearly tripled in the early 2000's, "Andrew" hit, wiped the shit out of them and they recovered. Since then it's just been escalation after escalation.

Too many jews and niggers.

There used to be a great interactive site called HowMoneyWalks that detailed migration of money and people state to state. My link is dead and I just spent 20 minutes looking for a new one to drive home your point.

I highly doubt Florida will ever go belly up but there might be an adjustment for awhile. They still have a healthy tourist industry, orange production and cattle.
