...and clumsy as fuck, but funny. And they're lethargic.

@lord_nougat...noted...but me and bears go a long way back....in all honesty, and this is not really good, I don't know how to be afraid of a bear charge anymore, when me or the wife are outside it's all common for the bears to run for us, trying to beat their buddy so they can get the best treat, I know when a bear's mad and it's never at me but we're just not scared of them anymore...I've come to believe that bears are more predictable than humans, backstabbers most always are close friends, I trust my bears with my life, fuck, we take napps together in the afternoon. Anyways, noted

All that bread and pasta before hibernation, I’m sure.

The neighbor mama black bear has returned here as well, I still cant tell how many cubs she has with her, have seen two so far. The yard she likes to hang out in now has a dog, and more people as well, so I'm not sure if she will stay. Seems bears don't like dogs much.

Bears will get along with dogs after they know each other, my big guy Brutus would always roll around with the neighbors Golden Retriever and then it died of old age last year and I know Brutus knew that something was different because he would always stare down the trail that the dog always came from. I've had a very close relationship with these bears for about 20years now and I've learned a lot from them...ACTUALLY, there's more to learn from a bear than a nigger.

Glad to hear it! Hopefully there won't be any invaders they can't handle this time around.

@Clueless_Enigma ...you remember that...it's been on my mind since it happened because knowing that there's a problem bear in the clan means that I can't totally be at ease, I did all I could just short of whacking it and so far it's worked, but the other bears do not like this one, it's fucking strange and I'll see what happens this year...I'll let everyone know if it's something big.

Not trying to go all schizoposting on ya, but something seems to have happened last year that has impacted nature at its core, and I've been seeing oddities all around. Please do update us on any developments!

@Clueless_Enigma ....since that strange day last year there's definitely something different, first off this winter has been the worst that I remember, around here a lot of roofs have structural damage from snow and ice loads and there's a few commercial buildings that caved right in...the biggest thing though is the behavior of the coyotes here, and pretty much the province, they've become more vicious and calculating, to the point where special meetings (of concern) are being called to formulate a plan to address the situation, as it looks now shooting them within city limits is going to be permitted so long as the shooters are professional and can minimize the chance of stray bullets and collateral damage, of course the faggy animal activists shoot their mouths off but nobody's listening....further to that is I've never seen coyotes take on a bear but last year there was several attempts by these mutts to kill bear cubs, one of my favorite bears, Lashes, lost both of her cubs in two separate attacks and it fucked her right up (bears do have emotions, I've seen it 1st hand) but that night of the strange bear I've never heard the swamp so loud with sounds and then like the flick of a switch, nothing, the next night and for the rest of the year everything went quiet, I've lived here since 1981 and that marsh has never been quiet.
I'm paying attention this year to see what happens.

Everyone, really everyTHING has an antsy feel to it, like we're all watching some kind of mexican standoff right before the shooting starts...

Hell just look at the poltical scene on a grand stage; everyone has crossed lines someone else swears would never be crossed. In spite of an alleged Pox Americana ensuing or close to existing, the whole atmosphere is 'Tense'.

We're coming up to an End, and I'd gamble on it coming in a form that only the Ultra Elite may have a glimmer of an idea of whats expected...

I want to hear news of Satan Bear getting dropped, if that ever happens.

@bobdole9 ...if Satan Bear catches hot lead I'll post it
