Looks like an outstanding list. I've seen a few of these, and generally prefer foreign films from that era over modern Hollywood garbage. One sleeper I can recommend offhand is "Hell or High Water". Great heist/caper film in a modern Western format. Highly recommended.

I pretty much reject Hollywood.
"Heat" isn't on there either.
There are lots of good films that didn't make the list of my favorites.
