Unless it's some sort of solid fuel I don't even see how it's possible that China could be supplying them with missile

Cryogenic hydrogen and kerosene and other things don't stay cold for long.

what exploded was sodium perchlorate, a major ingredient in solid fuel for missiles.

It was a pre-cursor ingredient to be combine with others for the final fuel mixture.

I think since then there have been four or five other explosions around Iran so I'm not sure that holds up.
