Amazon (AMZN) is denying reports that it will display the impact of tariffs next to the price of products on its e-commerce site that drew the ire of the Trump administration on Tuesday.

According to Washington Post reporter Jeff Stein, Amazon said it was never considering adding the additional cost caused by tariffs next to the price of goods on its main website, but rather was contemplating doing so on its low-cost Amazon Haul site

oof seems like the tariff will be passed to the consumer eventually . still take this news with a grain of salt

Tariffs are the cost of doing business across borders. It’s been that way forever, and the cost of doing business is always passed on to the consumer. That’s how business works…Amazon would make it political if they did this, but that would hurt them badly in the long run, the “political” retaliation will increase their cost of doing business and ruin them.

Not convinced of that, 'Muricans love their cheap Chinese goods & as long as the average Joe struggles to make ends meet, Amazon will only get bigger.

How about government stop giving Amazon tax money to subsidize deliveries? Oh no, that gravy train won't stop.

I’d rather them have a filter for items with zero tariffs.
