I wouldn't be surprised if the ones who are still alive have moved on to Twitter, which let's be honest is way more active and engaging than Voat has been for years. Others have probably just gotten sick of it all and are getting on with their lives.

I've been on Voat since 2014 or early 2015, and even I find myself barely spending any time here anymore. I think Voat is just slowly dying. This is barely a shell of what it was a decade ago.

Oops, look at the time, because of federal budget cuts, the Bureau only allocates a certain amount of time to spend working Voat. Time to logoff for the day and go back on Twitter hunting for people who say mean things about jews. Adios amigos!

I spend more time splitting my time now.

I do think however this has a lurker readership that is highly connected and get the word out in high places where it gets concepts into the right people's heads.
