Don't let the baggy pants and rap fool you. Peter likely inspired the next generation of skaters with what was considered insane at the time.

Baggy pants in general were worn back then for freedom of movement. Course ya had guys riding for Foundation that looked like they were from the Ramones.

Shorty's the company he rode for was legendary at the time for decks and hardware like bolts and bearings etc. As all things they've largely been replaced but they're still around.

Style is very sloppy and lanky - the baggy pants are worn to hide that fact, but still shows through bad posture and balance
