Cool as hell. Way heavier than it seems for most workouts that aren't squats.
Trying to figure out how best to incorporate it into the current workout. Current workout is -
ab roller 1 min
push ups 1 min
squat + 35 lb dumbbells floor to ceiling 1 min
deadlift two 35 lb dumbbells 1 min
back row two 35 dumbbells 1 min
For the squat / deadlifts the 50 lb vest is fine. For the rest it makes the fail out before 1 min. So possibly just set the weighted vest to whatever weight allows the rest to still be able to function for 1 min.
I got this weighted zipper vest from mir -

Putting the vest on "vest style" with a zipper at high weights is.. interesting lol. I don't think it's a valid style past a certain weight point. Chaffs your arms putting it on (in this case it rolls back velcro in the shoulder straps and the vecro scratches your arm at 50 lbs lol, so I'll probably have to sow that part closed).

Just a suggestion, ditch the ab roller and work the dragon flag into your routine.
I've been doing them since I saw Stallone in Rocky IV.
This guy has a good tutorial.

Prime example is life expectancy of linemen in football. Weight + Maximum Limits = early retirement EST.
TBH: Im a Bodyweight supporter.
There are special situations when artificial beyond normal requirements where conditioning and excessive strength gains in preparation for War etc...
IMO bodyweight cut muscles look natural.
Weight training muscles look deformed.

I don't really lift to build muscles, I lift to burn joules. The more weight that moves against gravity, for further distances, the more joules burnt. Ultimately I want my workout to be incredibly quick to pick up, and burn the most joules in the least time.
Too much weight you burnt out quickly and ultimately burn less joules, too little weight and it's quite frankly boring.
I'm not really convinced without supplements etc anyone will really ever look deformed. Unless they don't do a full body workout.
When it comes to weights / squats, 50 lbs is peanuts. See the leg sled machine. People just load it up with 45 plates on each side easily.
Ie push ups. I tested with a scale. My push ups are the equiv of a 130lb bar. If those were dumbbells they'd be 75 lbs each. If I had a bench, I'd probably be preferring around 50 lbs for a dumbbell bench press. So body weight is actually 50% more than I'd prefer.
