So did the two other photographers at the scene ever make statements at the time (or indeed the last 50 years) questioning the veracity of the attributed photographer?. Imagine seeing a world recognized image front and center on thousands of papers, Pulitzer prize nominated and winning - yet you as the actual photographer stand by and crickets for half a century (or didnt even bother cause you passed away).
