I cannot figure out for the life of me how Springsteen ever made it out of the bar scene. He can’t play the guitar worth a shit- nothing but bar-chords and 3 note progressions. Most of his songs are in the same key- which would make an entire live show basically one painfully long 3 chord song. His voice is fucking awful and not in any particular key (even worse than Dylan’s awful voice…).
He doesn’t write his own music (to be fair, most don’t anymore)…
He passionately hates capitalism yet makes millions selling merchandise, off of royalties, and selling tickets….
He hates 2/3 of his own country as well as his race…..

I could care the fuck less what he says. I can go to one of dozens of bars on the beach within walking distance from my house and see musicians with exponentially more talent playing music they wrote themselves (or covering songs the greasy, pasty white (or lobster red) tourists throw money at them to play)…

Bruce should be a washed up struggling musician who still works as a line cook or used car salesman- not an international touring act.

At least Dylan’s songs aren’t that bad when someone with musical talent else does them.
He did write decent lyrics with some depth and meaning.
