"...studies show that it takes an average of nine years for experts to spot it..."
Soooo, you're telling me it takes these "experts" nine fucking years to spot it? And you're paying these "experts" hundreds of dollars a week to lay on their couch until after an average of NINE YEARS a light goes off in these "experts" heads and they finally know what's wrong with you... AFTER NINE YEARS? And then they send you to another doctor who can prescribe you a drug to make you all better AFTER NINE FUCKING YEARS? SERIOUSLY? Nice work if you can get it! Sounds suspiciously JOO-ISH if you ask me! 😱 And if you haven't changed enough in nine years in your life so that anything that was going wrong in your life is now changed then you're doing something wrong!

It took 9 years for experts to work out that obsessive thoughts might be related to obsessive compulsion disorder, KEK.

"doctoring" is not as precise as we might think. Quite a worry really.

Agent Neri, I don't know how they do it down under but in the States, well ok I'm not really sure how doctors do it in the States but nine years seems like an awfully long time to listen to someone's woes before telling them to take some Prozac! Okay I'm going back to bed. Nice to see you again agent.

that could just as easily apply to you, neri, except for the baby thing, of course

Yes that's why I read the article. I can deal with the OCD stuff (staring at switches to make sure they don't magically turn themselves on after I'd turned them off) but the intrusive morbid thoughts are on another scale.

I suffer anxiety about Voat closing down.
