I like it, setting precedent that this can happen and not every government in the world will bend over and take anything globohomo wants to push. We all know Saudi and China are also against it, but with Russia actually doing something it's closer to home to Poland and Hungary, which gives them confidence to do the same.

Somewhere I heard that Apple has something like $400 billion dollars sitting in their bank accounts in Straight Cash. Which if you take your average Joe with $10,000 in his bank accounts that $93K PENALTY is the equivalent of $2.30.
If you had 100,000 liquid in your bank account then your looking at $23.00 penalty
So your numbers are pretty close for a reasonably secure middle class earner.
