My whole thing when watching this (admittedly I don't know a thing about the park, so I'm just seeing the buildings) is: hey, you guys could just have this for cities. This whole "park" you are so fucking stoked about right now, this could just be what a city looked like in the US. I went to a theme park once as a child and I was not even 10% as excited as these grown up babies. In fact I've never exhibited this kind of behavior.

An excellent comparison to the change from a modest and dignified culture to this juvenile kindergarten generation is from the Apollo 11 documentary when the Saturn rocket leaves the launch pad and the camera switches to the composed and professional scene in the control room. Excited by the launch, one of the junior engineers is about to pump his fist in the air and the gesture is instantly suppressed by a stern look from his senior engineer. The rest of the room sits quietly and professionally observing the launch.

Contrast that to today's launches where this generation is screaming so loud you have to turn off the audio.

I see no problem with the control center cheering. Look at all the firsts SpaceX has accomplished. Landing rockets on the ground, landing them on a platform floating in the ocean, launching humans, landing multiple rockets simultaneously, the tower where they launched Starship catching it. I would imagine NASA engineers would have dismissed all of those as impossible, until a company did it. They're gonna go down in science and history textbooks as the next generation of pioneers in rocket science and engineering.
