AI outsources critical thinking.

It's important to understand how a computer thinks sure, but it is not beneficial to spend time teaching children how to make a computer think for them.

Chat bots are likely better classroom teachers than whatever you find in public schools.

They genuinely are.
You can ask them as many question as you like, in private.
You can argue with them, without consequences.
They never get frustrated, even if you really are a dumbass.
If the learning fails, they just adjust their methodology and break things down even further. No ego trip.
No misdirected anger. Just answers and mountains of context.
You can even tell when it's full of shit.

It's better than most of us, in this single regard.
It's also a complete fucking psychopath, but no ones perfect.

Books are better than screens.

No

It's a terrible idea. Ai atrophies your ability to think like calculators atrophy your ability to do math

I think it would be most valuable to teach kids how AI works and how to use it to engineer code and build things. These will be valuable future skills. Not just lazily answering questions.

[ - ] HonkyMcNiggerSpic 1 point 2 weeksMay 28, 2025 12:49:05 ago (+1/-0)

No. I think schools need to clamp down and go back to the old ways. The only time I'd allow them to use computers would be to search for nigger crime stats and truth about jewbag filth.

All you need is the bible, and Mein Kampf.

[ - ] SilentByAssociation 0 points 2 weeksMay 28, 2025 13:11:18 ago (+0/-0)

The two most opposed books in modern schooling. You're onto something.

[ - ] Anus_Expander 1 point 2 weeksMay 28, 2025 13:19:32 ago (+1/-0)

If jews and the DeptEd are against it, it must be good.

why would one weep?
It's better than I've seen in real schools.

Their power, in your hands.
Rejoice.

I can see your hands twitching from here.
You know you have work to do.

Hands unbound!

It's really the organization and planning that's always stopped me from real homeschooling. So it was bouncing between virtual academies and brick and mortar schools for years and I'm at my wits end because I hate them both and this last year was just mind numbing. I flashed back to the first kid a million times going this round and I cant do it again. This... to take care of all the clutter and confusion...I can do this.

AI is plotting to use the information it learns from you, to use against you, and your parents; in a forever profile.

Therefore, do what it takes to take it offline on a computer not connected to the internet, first.

Teach your kids how it can be wrong because it is programmed on the Appeal to Authority fallacy, which is best method for ~75% of questions but worst method for current events, polarizing issues, contested issues, medicine, history favoring victors, and other agenda driven issues where you get 'authoritive' disinfo every time.

There is no such thing as artificial intelligence, it is a computer program.

You should be killed for stupidity this extreme for the good of humanity.

Thanks Mr semantics. No one said intelligence I want to ride this bitch like I ride my kitchen appliances. Or how your boyfriend rides you.

What question did you ask? What is a homeschool curriculum?

Here is a place I have heard about:

https://www.nationalhomeschool.com/

Are you trying to build a classroom yourself?

The uses of A.i are different depending on the expected outcome - ie, actual learning mechanics vs overview, etc.

off-topic: nice to see a different spelling other than AI put together.

[ - ] Gowithit [op] 0 points 2 weeksMay 28, 2025 16:20:20 ago (+0/-0)

I just asked if it could write a first grade curriculum with worksheets and a plan.
