Instead of AI, the company was actually using a fleet of more than 700 Indian engineers from social media startup VerSe Innovation to actually write the code.

The company failed because most of those 700 Indian engineers ended up being hit by trains, and their touted AI was as fake as this sentence.

I dunno. I've always thought the intelligence of indians was pretty artificial so technically....

But I wouldn't be surprised if this was true of most "AI" projects. Elon did want to get more street shitters in the country.
