If that's a sideline talent second or third to a Mechanical Engineering degree, Hoisting Engineer or certified all-position welder etc then it's impressive.
If that kid/guy/thing had dedicated all the time he spent learning to skate into something productive and fruitful he wouldn't be screaming "I can't afford to buy a howze! Stupid boomers."

Assuming that kid is IN Japan, there are towns and villages where houses are just abandoned to fall into ruins. Probably harder to generate income in those areas, but prices in those areas can be more than 'affordable'.
There are a couple guys on youtube shorts who show 'very inexpensive' houses in nice areas. The big catch is that remodeling can cost a fortune due to massive dump fees in Japan.
