It is the same pigment (different stabilizers) that I use to tint gel coat and epoxy resin.

They use it in white 3d printer filament, which causes the nozzles to wear down and the filament itself to be weaker. Why does there need to be studies to understand that it's bad to eat.

Interesting. Figured it was inert.

Worked at a cafe that sold sugar free mints. The primary ingredient was titanium dioxide. Had my fair share of them and I’m not more retarded than before I had consumed them so I think I’m good.

It probably has effects like aluminum. A metal which the body hasn't evolved any mechanisms to use or eliminate.

Titanium dioxide is used in soap making and I used several pounds of it daily. We got it cheap from China, probably at least 500lbs at a time. Of all the chemicals that I worked with that was one I was least concerned about, but I still have scars from the lye and the inside of my lungs are probably coated in glitter.

Meanwhile they are now putting an additive called Bovaer in livestock feed in the EU to reduce cow farts. For climate change of course. They also say it's perfectly safe and "tested". Want to bet we'll find out something much later. It's not like this pattern doesn't keep repeating.
