Man, I almost became a journalist. I was my high school's newspaper editor for three years, most of my teachers were encouraging me to follow a career in it... but my true passion lay with fiction, when it comes to writing.
Anyways, I held my high school writers to a pretty high standard. My paper read just as well as any actual newspaper. My writers were objectively better than most of the shit I see spewed out onto the internet now.
Sounds like you're living right. And thank goodness you didn't go into jewnalism. There's little place there for a White Man. Would probably put you in the Obits under some fat jewish woman who'll never let you advance.
