I agree it's clearly AI, but apart from the claim that a photo from 1929 would be in such immaculate condition, what's the giveaway? Instinctively/intuitively I could see it was AI the moment I opened it, but I can't pinpoint exactly why. Definitely something with the shadows and skin sheen, but more than that I can't really say.

The face is too perfect. Upper lip and corners of mouth feel weird. Doesn't look like a nearly 100 year old photograph.
