While I appreciate the sentiment.. If the earth got smacked by something big enough to kill Africa, the rest of us would be pretty fucked too.

If not by the impact and immediate effects, the longer term effects would be pretty rough.

Maybe there's a size of meteorite that is sufficient to wreck Africa, but spare the world.

Or if the impact object broke up before impact and was spread out over an area.
