Goats, I have left California.

Anyone following my vaguely retarded narrative knows I'm a widow with two lovely kids trying to make a living in tech in California after spending 20 years in NYC. I sought and met a nice man - gave me hope for the future, but we were on different paths. We remain friends and send jew memes to one another still.

But after one too many bullshit interactions with the horrific people of this state (namely, my horrid jew landlord and irritating nigger and dependapotamous neighbors) and I finally couldn't take it anymore. Packed up as much as I could, dumped the rest, and moved back out to an old family farmhouse in nowhere, Ohio. Spent the last week getting settled and making plans for a cowboy pool in the backyard.

I'm thrilled to be back in the country, letting my dog bark and kids scream. Area is 99% white. I've been sleeping like a baby.

Now going to join a decent church and a horseback riding club, hoping the rest falls into place.

Depends. My local county did not use salt or sand, rather gravel used for asphalt.

They also did nothing to remove accumulation from anything, let alone bridge decks and shady spots.

Not stranded, just "noped" off the roads for a couple days. By day three the black ice shimmies weren't bad.

Even if you are stranded, as long as you have water, you will live for a day or two . I wouldn't drive in the snow, but not because of my driving, rather the panicky idiot drivers who would get on the road. Had a cold snap that snapped off giant oaks' branches. It's the ice, not the snow sometimes.

I don't know. I was in the Land of Dixie and couldn't open my doors for a day. My gas line to my tankless froze, and I had to break out a snow shovel. Not in the mountains. Near the coast.

None yet and it's been a while. I used to do the biathlon here when I was a kid (ski/shoot) and my sig STR is still hanging around in the attic somewhere. Getting the garden going too. Tomatoes, beans, peppers, watermelons and pumpkins, and we've got about 10 or so apple trees that need some work.

When I was in CA I had an elderly hippie jew neighbor that would stand outside for hours just to communicate with niggers and spics. When one of them walked by the jew would start speaking ebonics or spic slang.

It really depends on many different factors of course. You can check out some options at remote.io. I'm also getting part time work in the local schools because I can't stand wfh all the time and want a few options for better health care. Most of the remote work I get is with people and companies I've known for a long time.
