I was inebriated and tossed the phone to the bed that hit her in the thigh..........

So basically he was mad at his girlfriend who he thought was s****** another guy and she gave him her phone and he threw it back on the bed and it mistakenly hit her and that was the extent of the contact which resulted in him being found guilty of battery even though he apparently was not allowed to show that he had no intent which is required under Louisiana law.

She's probably sitting on the bed. Makes perfect sense to me frankly he's standing up he's mad at her she hands him the phone to prove that she's not doing anything wrong he looks at it and he throws it down on the bed and then it hits her hip. I'm amazed that he got a battery charge for tossing a phone at someone even if it was intentional or accidental.
