It's definitely a process. We usually try one new thing/process a year. That way we can see if that particular thing was enough of a benefit to justify the expense/time.
@system : seconded. Obvious advertisement or illegal content type spam should be reported through PM and removed, but for off-topic and stuff you don't agree with, it should just be left to the voting system.
One way to let the voting system work in our favor would be that if a post gains a lot of downvotes in a short amount of time should get deprioritized when looking at 'hot'. That should work pretty well if you have a good defense against bandwagon voting.
I've tried news paper and cardboard in the past. The grass/weeds we have is so aggressive, the moment the paper gets wet, it spears right through it. Weed fabric is about the only thing that can stop it short of inches of wood chips. I don't much care for wood chips in the garden as they don't break down quickly enough. We till each year so I'd end up having to add more wood chips every year and would end up with more wood chips than soil, lol.
My goal this year is to smother and kill all major weeds and grass around inside edge of garden. Then use an herbicide to kill anything within a foot or two of the garden. If I can hold it at bay this year, my goal is to redo my fencing and lay down heavy mulch/ rock around garden to keep the bad plants from trying to migrate in.
I hope there will be lots of bees! I intend to provide them homes. Our strategy is to make it a full time jobs if we can figure out the logistics on it, and I'd do the beekeeping as a side business. Lavender honey sells for a premium.
We probably could sell some if we wanted, but we mostly plant for our own storage and sharing with friends and family.
We have about 12 acres in front of the house that we intend to do a cash crop of lavender in the future. Wife is working with test plants now to get our working knowledge up on it.
Eh, we tend to forget or don't notice that we entered a new billing period, and we end up burning through it in the course of an hour or two on our 4k TV with YouTube. We mostly just live with the awful throttling all month long
they claim during the beta you'll see 50Mb/s to 150Mb/s, but most people are seeing speeds up to 300Mb/s, with consistent speeds around 170 - 200. No data caps at the moment, they expressed disinterest in instating them, but it's possible they may have to if they can't find other ways to keep individuals from monopolizing bandwidth. This will be alleviated in the future with more sat launches.
99$ a month. Way better than the only options I have, which would be the other geo stationary sat internet options. We're not super close to any cell tower, so our cell connections are what we use right now, but the throttling is awful after like 10gb in a given month.
possibly.. st george utah? They have a cool cliffside restaurant that has really good food and a good view. Lots of trails nearby and some cool cliffside views elsewhere.

Cut worms usually come out for it. We use an insecticidal soap to keep them at bay. Not looking bad so far but its been chilly.

A lot of this could be said for any fiat currency. You want a real defense against inflation, you invest in things that have intrinsic, durable value.
